We have a very diverse population of animals in our household. See below

Harry is are oldest Black Lab, followed by Teddy our Beagle-Basset-Hound mix, followed by our newest edition spread out across the top of the couch is Katie-Lynn. This crew brings with them a lot of love, affection and a friend to lean on when life throws you a curve ball.

Harry is simple and sweet. He likes to relax and spend his time in the sun or back surfing in our yard.  We have a large kiddy pool that serves as his personal spa to cool off on the hot dog days of summer.

Teddy is our century on duty all the time for a passing car or people he can catch glimpses of through our privacy fence.

Katie Lynn, being our youngest pup, is full of energy and likes fetching, swimming in our large backyard lagoon, intimidating our fenced in chickens, running after anything that has wings or rimes with "babbit" in our back yard and finding any stick of large size and piling them up in various places for the lawn mower. She loves to snuggle between my wife and I in our king sized bed and will groan if she is adjusted at any point during the night when we fight to take back our space.

Asher  has selected me as his person. He is the first animal that my wife and I picked up from the local animal shelter. His name was Romeo and meeting him in person it's not to hard to see why. Asher loves to snuggle when he wants to. He is a "Polydactyl" meaning that he has several extra toes on each paw. So his paws are quite large (my favorite). Asher likes to think he is a dog at times. When he is low on food he will let you know by licking your nose or giving it a gentile bit to remind you he is low on food. Not my favorite wake up call when i have to work in the morning and he decides at 2 or 3 am that it is time.

Next up is Murphy. He is still a youngster and has a deep addiction to home grown cat nip. He refuses to eat cat food. Instead he insists he is part dog. He can be found anywhere there is trouble going on, but is quick to try and make a fast escape so not to be seen. He is completely black and white; however, he does have one Grey ball. As you can see from the picture he is trying to be as cute as can be, but look into his eyes and you might see a little personality a brewing.

Izzy is our eldest cat. She was found a my work place bringing mice to the front door in 20 below zero weather. I took her in, warmed her up, brought her home after my shift and she has been a part of our family ever since that day. She was a lucky girl. She tends to stay away from  the other guys and enjoys her solitude. When it's bed time you can find her all curled up on the pillow above my wife's head. She sleeps their all night long. She is very affectionate with people, just doesn't prefer the company of the other animals.

Arthur is our resident Box Turtle. During the summer months he has a full enclosure outside that he can freely roam and forage for worms and strawberries in safety. During the cooler winter months here in Duluth he has his on personal in door terrarium. Aurthur likes to climb and keeps himself occupied by people watching.
